I can remember the day we got you Beamer as if were yesterday. Your daddy Jim and I went to the Texas Hill Country in the summer of 2002 to pick up some furniture from one of his nephew’s house because he was moving. As we approached the house we noticed a cute little beagle running back and forth along the chain link fence. You noticed us but you really noticed Gordi Girl.
Later in the day after we loaded the things we were to take back home, Jim’s nephew asked us if we wanted you because the apartment complex where he was moving to didn’t allow pets. We gladly took you and you gladly came with us. Along the way to your new home you threw up in the truck and your bed – a dirt filled terrra cotta pot broke. Well, you would never need that bed again because you would no longer sleep outside. You took to your new home as if you had lived there your entire life.
You loved your new sister and us instantly and we loved you the same. You were always the sweetest little beagle Beamer. You would make us laugh and smile when you would roll over for snacks and act like a regal beagle. Everybody loved you because you were so gentle and well behaved. You’ve had a long life with us our baby, but we knew after you were diagnosed with congestive heart failure that it was only a matter of time until you left for the rainbow bridge to be with your brother Tank. It still hurts – loosing you hurts, but we know you are no longer suffering and that you had a good long life. Thank you Beem Beem for being our baby boy. Now you and Tank can run and play together. We will love and think of the memories of you forever.
We Will Love You Forever,
