“Beau” – (Geste) Grant by Michael & Diane Grant / Mommy and Daddy

Our dearest Beau; You came into our lives as a stray(10/6,7). We invited you into our house, (2 days later) and you instantly became part of our family. When we took you to the vet on the 12th, we thought you only had a cold, (from being outside, for who knows how long). We planned on bringing you back home with us. The vet thought you had Feline Leukemia. It turned out you had Feline Aids instead. Our hearts were broken. We knew we had to do the humane thing and give you heavenly sleep (We were devastated.). It wasn’t fair; we shouldn’t have had to make that decision; but we had Meeko (our healthy cat at home;)and we could’nt take that chance of him catching Aids. We are so sorry, Beau. We loved you so, so much. We know you loved us, too. Even though, we only got to know you for just about a week; we feel like we’ve had you in our lives for 10 years and more. You were the most loving cat. (You’d crawl up in our laps and look at us and just purr, purr away). We’ll always remember that about you. Thank you for coming into our lives, (although our time was short),
for choosing us as your family.
