The first time I saw her she melted my heart. I brought her home and we grew so very close. I trusted her with my life, and she did a wonderful job protecting it. I never thought about what it would be like with out her,
but now I know.
Even thought it has been a couple of years since she was killed, I still miss her every day, and I miss her snotty cold nose pressing against my face every morning telling me “hey get up lazy or I’m going to go to the bathroom in the living room” or the way I could feel safe at night here all alone with just her by my side knowing there was nothing
to be afraid of and that.
I didn’t have to try and sleep with one eye open. Yes when she was killed my whole life changed, and even though I have bought another, there will never be another. Pets are not just pets they are friends. They are family, so if you have a true friend guard them with your life and
love them till no end.
