Blue by Marina

Oh My sweet Blue how we cried the day we lost you. You never saw that car coming. You went with dad to pick up the newspaper that morning as you did every day. A pick-up came speeding by as you crossed the road and you were gone. I only can pray that you did not feel any pain my sweet one. I don’t think you did tho you were in shock. It’s a accident that never should have happened. If you and dad would have gone out a couple minutes ealier or later you would still be here today. Dad got you off of the road and put you in his pick-up and buried you out by the barn. He took you for your last ride. Oh how you loved riding in the pick-up and me I was at work when it happended.

I never got to say good- bye to you. You died at 8:30 a.m on June the 3rd. God how I miss you! I think of you all the time and Tippy he was looking for you to come down the lane as you always did. You were best buddies and I miss our trail riding together. You always liked that. You were always by my side but for you to know you are over looking the horses just like you did here with us and Tippy is getting older now and in not real good health. I know when it’s time for him to leave you will meet him at the gate and guide him tho his journey and my sweet Lil Blue I will meet you and Tippy when my time is up and we will be together once again.

We love you Blue!! You will never leave our hearts. Mom and Dad sheeding many tears for you.
