We adopted you from the local dog pound as an 8 week old puppy – you were so full of fun and had us totally exhausted!!!. Soon you grew up into a beautiful dog – you were shy and very sensitive but you were also very intelligent and we never could believe just how much you understood. You loved your walks and playing ball best of all and would have played ball all day long if you could find anyone willing!!. You also loved the snow and
going to the fields to play.
When you became ill the vet thought you just had a chest infection at first – you had always been well cared and were only 10 years old – so we thought you would soon get well again. Sadly it was not to be and despite all the vet could do for you – it was discovered after many tests just 3 weeks later you had cancer and nothing more could be done for you. We were all broken hearted and could not believe how sick you had been without any signs until so near the end.
We miss you so much ‘pups’ – you were such a special friend to us and we feel honoured to have had you in our lives those ten years – we just wish it could have been longer.
