Brandy Stewardson by Sandra & Dale Stewardson

Brandy was only 6 weeks old when we brought him home late november 1988. He grew to weigh 69 lbs by age 14 years. He new the alphabet and wouldn’t touch a treat unless you said “ok” any other letters and he would just sit there.

We used to go for walks and car rides all over the place. He was our little co-pilot we called him. He loved to sleep with you like it was his bed or something, and when it was 4:00 he knew Sissy was coming home from school and would sit watching the door waiting patiently for it to open. The same when it was 5:15, dad would be coming home from work, and knew supper time becaue he was always under foot when cooking, looking for his carrots or green peppers. He would kill for either one of those treats.

He even had his own couch, pillow, blanket, etc, {spoiled or what.} He used to drink out of the toilet so I constantly was cleaning that, usually leaving his drip lips on the toilet seat, and fur constantly shedding year round. I had to vaccumn every day, and clean his couch etc. You don’t know what you had until its all gone and I will never forget the comfort he brought to our family and if you were sick he was always by your side.

Now we face illness alone and every day alone, with only your memories and pictures and your ashes to talk about or to. We love you and hope Grammie is taking care of you until someday we will all be reunited again. I really love you Boufy and will always cherish your pictures memories and talk to you every day and say goodnight every night. I don’t want to have any more pets b/c my heart fell completely apart when you left us and the guilt for putting you down because of illness and age and alot of other problems I still deal with this daily but will always cherish the little time we had together.

We hope you are happy and romping around like you did when you were a puppy and having the time of your life. We used to tell everyone when they wanted to know what kind of dog brandy was to picture the black and white holstein cow and that was out dog only 60 somewhat lbs, and everyone would just laugh. Brandy used to be quite the partier too. He would drink your drink if you put it on the floor or run off with the beer bottle to lick out the drippings.

He was just a “crazy hound dog” and we all had alot of good times with him. He will be greatly missed by our 18 month old grandson. He constantly runs through the house “dog dog dog dog” and we tell him “doggy gone to heaven
with Great-Grammie.

We love and miss you terribly boufy but know one day we will see you on the other side.

With all our love and kisses

MOM, DAD, SISSY, AND TRENNI-BEAR
