Brittany came into our family when I was a young child. I wanted a dog so much and she was set to be put to sleep by her previous owner..Brittany came for what I thought was an overnight visit but ended up staying for 17 years.
She was the sweetest, kindest, most loving dog to everyone and everything. I never knew there could be a dog like her. She traveled with the family, had a litter of pups, and won the heart of my dad especially. The two of them had a unique bond…Brittany started getting ill in her 15 year and we began any treatment we could. In the end it was cancer and a stroke that took her from our family but we will NEVER forget the 17 wonderful years she let us be a part of her life. I know she is the littlest angel out there and is taking care of others.
