Brownie-Oh how I miss you! You were the light of my life for eleven and a half years, and the emptiness now that you are gone is staggering. I miss you being under my feet all the time, I miss your sweet face and those brown eyes. I remember the feel of your fur under my hands, the warmth of you cuddled up next to me. You were so brave and strong—I wish I could face life the same way you always did.
I know that I will heal in time, but I will never forget you. My Brownie Boy, my honey bunny, Mister Brownie, Brownie-Butt….my best friend. Yes, I will heal, but there will be a scar on my heart forever, and you will live on there forever. I will find you at the bridge, My Beloved Brownie. Thank you for all you gave me, which was everything.
