To my dear owner master and friend,
my time in this world is at an end.
Although I love you as we both know,
the time has come for me to go.
You must be strong in my time of need,
please don’t be sad of this you I plead.
The deed you must do is very hard,
I know you’ll miss seeing me protect our yard.
It’s a necessary evil that must be done,
for this is the only way I can again run.
I know you will miss me and I you to,
but there is one thing I know to be true.
I’ll wait by the bridge as long as it takes,
we’ll walk into heaven through the gates.
Never to be separated by death again,
as owner master protector and friends.
You were a great guardian to our family! You will be missed but never forgotten!
