My son came home with this dog and gave it to my husband for his birthday. He said he was kept in the basement of his friend’s house for eight years and was a bit on the wild side. Well this dog sat next to my husband and put his head on his lap and looked up
at him with these sad eyes.
Buddy wieght 49 pounds when we got him.
Hair line fracture in his leg, worms.
But he was the best dog I ever owned. He never was wild in our house. The only thing was since he was kept in the basement and lived with a chow dog that he fought with he could not get along with other dogs.
But that was ok we had a big back yard and
how he loved to chase his kong.
When my husband and I broke up I kept Buddy.
He never left my side for months.
He had a big heart he knew if someone hurt he would stay with them.
On April 19, 2009 I lost my best friend. Buddy’s body had given out on him. There is not a day that I do not think about him. I do get a few tears but in the end a smile.
