To Our Dearest Buddy,
You came into our lives at a time when we never knew we needed a dog. But there you were, going to be sent back to the shelter, because the people that picked you, found out you were blind. They thought you were handicapped. You weren’t. When we heard from a neighbor that you were being sent back to the shelter, my neighbor asked if maybe we would want you.
Daddy and I had been through the sadness of losing a loving pet, and I was afraid to put myself out there. But, Daddy and I talked, and we decided to give you a good home. Well, no one would ever believe you were blind. you loved playing ball with any one that would care to join in. If it went under a bed, you would sniff it out, and bring it back to the person that threw it to you.
You were amazing, and we loved you so much. Daddy was your best friend, and I was your healer. We were one big happy family, until the dogs attacked us on our way home from our night time walk. In a few seconds, everything I knew would change. You were gone, and we have been heartbroken ever since.
The people That gave you too us, lost a wonderful, great, loving dog, but we were so lucky to have you for the few years that we did. Every day was a joy for us, and you bought so much happiness into our lives. You are so missed Buddy, and we hope we will see each other again at the Rainbow Bridge, when our time comes.
With all our Love forever,
| ♥Buddy♥ |
