Dog
My dog Burlington
and I were best friends for eight years.
Last year during a very difficult year for me personally
he kept me going each day because he depended on me
and I didn't want to let him down.
He seemed to sense I needed extra love and when I
moved to a new home and lived alone for the first time
in 25 years he became my protector.
He died from a very rare disease and I will never forget him.
I have two other dogs who are very special but he will
always be in my heart.
