Buster was found lying in a ditch several years ago. My husband brought him home and we took care of him until his passing. He was such a good old dog. Never barked at anyone. Only barked to let me know it was dinnertime. And what a great frisbee dog he was! When he was younger, he would jump into the air, catch the frisbee, stick or whatever you threw to him, and fetch it right back to you. I cannot prove it, but I believe the contaminated dog food killed Buster. I really do. It is such a shame for such a fine old friend to die in such a way.I miss his familiar bark at feedtime. I miss rubbing his head. I miss brushing his hair and grooming him. He was a good dog.
