It all began
When you caught my eye

I couldn’t pass you by.
We grew together
Like best of friends
The two of us

I taught you things
As you did me
We grew together
Just like family
You were with me
A third of my life

And so unplanned
Yesterday you were running

When the time grew near

The decision was hard

But Steve & I stayed
I miss you so
