If you were me and I were you,we would never forget the pets we knew
You had your loss and I had mine,we think about
this all the time
So sadly missed by you and me,many people would
disagree
They say it’s only a dog or a cat, but you and I
know better than that
I feel for those who don’t understand,it’s Gods
furry creatures that brighten the land
But we want someday to meet at the Bridge where
the Rainbows shine on every Ridge
Our pets will be running over to see,Who goes
there, is it you or me
Let’s not forget the joy we both knew from our
loyal pets that were faithful and true’
