My Sweet Little Alex,
It’s only been a few days and the pain is so deep. Friday, July 30, 2004 was one of the worst days of my life. When I got the call saying “There’s not much left to do” I felt like dying. I never imagined how hard it would be to say goodbye to you. I know you feel no more pain and you are disease free, but it doesn’t make the pain go away.
The girls miss you, too! If they only had one more chance to “love on the kitty” like they did everyday!
You will always be in my heart! You were “My first love!”
Letting you go was the hardest thing I’ve ever done!
