Oscar, the big o, o man or just son, it did not matter to you. You were indeed my son and boy were you ever ready to go. Let’s go for a walk; let’s go to the barn or your favorite, let’s go for ice cream. You really could understand your mommy and me. I know. You came to us as a tiny puppy that someone had just cast away. One man’s trash would become another man’s treasure. Little could they have known what a priceless gem they had discarded. You became a guardian, a friend, even a carpenters helper. Your big beautiful brown understanding eyes and quiet understanding could solve most any problem. Just for a time walk with Jesus, you knew, and you showed everyone you were indeed, a treasure. Walk proudly you have earned your place in heaven. We will be home soon.
Be a good boy. We love you.
