I sit and cry thinking of you
For my pain is bad and my tears burn.
Why did you have to go
For you were the my only friend.
You made a difference in everyone
For I was the one that noticed you lying.
Why did you have to go.
I sat next to your body
And pet you good bye
For you were young
Not even a year.
There was so many things
You had never seen.
So many things you had never done.
We only had you for five great months.
The greatest times of my life.
I’ll never forget all of that time
For it was as pure as gold.
But, in that time I learned much
Of every thing I have learned.
My greatest learning is love.
Now I end my letter with one last word
that I ask you please to remember LOVE.
