by Jennifer Wicker / Mom and me

It’s been almost two years since you’ve passed but I know you are still here. I see you running up and down the stairs. I feel you rub up against my leg. I dream you kiss me in my sleep. There is still that empty place though, that I know you can’t fulfill. I miss the way we used to cuddle on the couch. I look forward to when we can do it again. I kept your favorite blanket in the top of my closet.

Nobody has touched it since you’ve passed but me. When it’s time for me to come see you make sure you have a spot ready. I’ll be sure to bring the blanket. Then we can cuddle for eternity.
I miss you “baby girl P”.

Kisses and hugs,
Jennifer Wicker
