Until we meet again —
I will miss your sweet face, your soft fur, your big green speckled eyes, the little spot on your nose, your loud purr, your little squeaks and grunts and meows, the way you would nudge us for attention, your sweet patient way, your stomping on our heads in the night, your drinking from my water glass on the bedside table…I’ll miss rubbing your tummy (tummy cat!), having you sleep on my pillow, or curled up on my chest or next to me in the crook of my arm…I’m so grateful for having you in my life for 13 years. Your daddy and sister miss you too, and we’ll all see you again at the Rainbow Bridge. Rest well, sweet baby, little possum cat, little shoe-button…my beautiful Scherzo.
