Her real name is Beth but we decided to call her Kim. She was like a dog, she always followed me around the house and played fetch. To me, she was known as a daredevil and I always took her outside on a leash.
One day no one was in the room and she fell and fractured her ankle. We took her to the vet where she got pain medicine. Her kidneys were bad which caused the medicine to make her heart stop.
I took her outside for the last time the morning before. I still think I can hear her purring really loudly.
