I lost my best friend today,
now I do not know what to say.
My heart is hurting for my best friend is gone,
now all I am doing is weeping this song.
How do I go on without my true friend,
how do I face all of life’s bends without my loyal companion.
I know you are here in spirit, but it still makes me sad,
All I have is memories so then I should be glad.
But the one thing that no-one can take away.
Is the life you had with me
and the love that will never go away.
