God blessed me with a friend eleven years ago.
I took one look at you and knew you were the one.
We always were together, you liked to follow me around.
I knew deep down in my heart, a true friend I had found.
I used to talk to you like you really understood.
Now that I think about it,
I really think you could.
You were always there for me, through out all the years.
You always knew just what to do to wash away my tears.
Now I sit here all alone, God has taken you away.
And I miss you so much more than I could ever say.
I miss your little bark, and your little wagging tail.
You were always there to greet me
with unconditional love without fail.
God knew you were hurting, your body racked with pain.
So God wrapped his arms around you and took you home again.
The pain I feel may soften as the years go flying by.
But I can tell you one thing, I will love you until I die.
