You crossed a Rainbow Bridge today

And I will keep on living intended as the plan
I’ll cherish every memory and do the best I can
I learned how to share my life with you
I learned how to give my heart
I learned that love’s a giving thing
We shared it from the start.
Each day a misadventure filled with laughter and with tears
I wish I could re-live every minute day and year.
Dark cathedral clouds have gathered for a summer storm
But I believe you’re past them now and God will keep you warm
The clouds will gather in my heart my eyes will rain with tears
But knowing you are in the sun will ease my pain and fears.
