I will never forget the first day I saw you. I came to daddy’s house to pick him up and you sat on the side of the house with a ball in your mouth, but you wouldn’t come play with me. When I came to you, you dropped the ball, ran and hid. We played this same game of hide and seek for three days. The fourth day you meet me at the fence with a wag of your tail and the ball in your mouth.

Three months later daddy and I were married and you came to live with me. You slept at my feet and on my side of the bed on the floor. A year later, we added another to our small family, a little baby girl. You were never jealous of her. In fact, you guarded her with your life.

Two years later you had a family of your own with Dixie. We brought your son, Bingo home when he was old enough. You took care of Bingo, cleaning him of ticks. Making sure he had enough to eat by sharing your food.

Four years later we brought home our son and you once again protected him with your life. The kids loved you more than you knew. We miss you and I think of you all the time. I know you are free of pain and can once again see. I will never forget you!!!!!

With Love,
