A year ago today my best friend and companion Buffa passed away. It was sudden and so was the now empty place in my heart that left with him. He was the best friend I ever had. Always there for me and excited EVERY time I came home. With those deep brown eyes full of love and compassion he greeted me every morning when I woke up and as we went to sleep at night.
I miss you so, my friend. I know you had to go to that great place in the heavens and are now at peace, free to frolic in the great fields of heaven. I just want you to know that I love you with all my heart and will never ever forget you. Today I still grieve and cry and just wish you were here to hold you one more time. I know you are with me and I with you for eternity. I will see you again.
Just have fun up there…you earned every joy that God has to give you for you gave me so much joy, happiness and love while you were on this earth.
