You brought such joy to us when you first came into our lives. You were just a puppy, and we forgot how fun it was to have a puppy again. You were so full of energy and happy!
You brought joy to us all of your life, and when your life ended, ours’ stood still. There is a hole in our hearts without you.
You were so gentle and sweet.
You would look at us with those soft beautiful brown eyes which we loved so much. You were so smart.
You would catch moles. You were our little “watch dog.” You loved to walk around the yard and sniff the ground. You was once a “rabbit dog,” and we put an underground fence in for you and your buddie, Spot. You and Spot would play for hours when you were both younger.
The years go on so fast, and we hoped you would have had a longer life, but one day the angels came and took you away. When we found you, you were lying in your buddie’s house.
It looked as if you died in your sleep.
We miss you terribly Sweet Sue,
and Spot does too.
You will always have a place in our hearts
where our love will never die.
