My darling cat Tigger was sadly put down on Sunday 7th March, 2010, after having kidney failure from old age. We got him from a cat rescue centre, and as we walked in, all of the cats hissed at us.. But not my Tigger. He was ginger, had cat flu at the time, and messy fur. As we walked towards him, he stood up straight away and rubbed his head up against my dad, who used to have a real dislike for cats! So he chose US. And I’m so glad that he did. He would have been put down the next day if we hadn’t have taken him home.
As we grew up together, I loved him more and more each day, and loved coming home to his cuddles every day! He always knew when I was upset, feeling ill or just in need of a cuddle, as when I was feeling like this, he would jump up onto my lap and snuggle in straight away :(.
He was a gorgeous, friendly, FAT cat! He was so hefty that he got stuck in his cat flap! We came home to his top half poking through the cat flap, and his legs dangling out the other side, so we bought him a small dog flap and a dogs bed :).
I will always love you Tigger.
You will be forever loved and remembered.
