I met her on a winter day,
she was hungry, cold, and obviously stray.
I named her Church, and took her home,
she met the other cats, and together they’d roam.
She was my baby girl, who had so much love to give,
I could have never imagined what a short time she’d live.
She loved to lay on my chest, and sew with her claws
and when Squidly would bug her, she’d smack him with her paws.
With her sandpaper tongue, she’d give you a lick,
then she’d jump up and run off really quick.
When ever I came home, she’d run out to greet me,
we’d walk down the stairs and how happy she’d be.
Now you are free and watching us from above,
you brought me joy, happiness, and most of all love.
When I go to heaven, I know you will be there,
to greet me and love me, and eternity we’ll share.
I LOVE YOU BABY GIRL.
Love always Momma
