Sweet, kind, wonderful companion –
I promise to love you and take care of you for all the days of your life. I promise to find all the things that make you happy and do them each and every day. I will always respect your unique spirit and I will always strive to find ways to understand you. I will learn from you, and I will laugh with you always. And when you are hurting or ill, I promise to comfort you and hold you
and seek proper care.
I will give you all the things you need – and every moment of your life, I will make you feel loved and cherished and you will never want for anything.
I will never cause you pain, and I will never leave you, for you are as much a part of me and my life as any human could ever be. And at the end of your life, I promise to treat you with compassion and let you go with dignity.
