After Losing my dog in April 2003 I realized how much I missed having the company of a dog. I would often look where he always use to lay. My husband bought my daughter another little dog and when I looked at her I began to sob, I felt the guilt of so quickly replacing my Benson a 14 year old companion and trusted friend.
My daughter quickly answered my concerns with the answer I need to hear. She said “if Benson wasn’t such a good dog you would never want another, because you do it means he was the best.” She was right if this dog is half the dog my Benson was then she too will be great. So thank you Benson for being the BEST.
Always in our minds and in our hearts,
