As I bow my head today
For many things I will pray
I will ask forgiveness
In all I might have done.
I ask that you bless me
Set my breaking heart free.
Show me that, Your will has been done
From this I can not run.
You blessed with my precious Bud
Only now to call him home.
Life seems so empty now
The pain so intense.
I know Bud was lent to me, From you God up above
I thank you for the years you gave him to me
Just please set my heart free.
I still have much to be thankful for
Which I certainly am.
I know I will see Bud again
In your kingdom in the sky
As I bow my head today
Please God help me not to cry.
