Merc was a 15 year old border collie who was loved and cherished by anyone and everyone that ever met him. I border collie with such a character….a dog, a pet, a best friend!
In his early stages of life, he was the best dog anyone could ask for. He never bit anyone, never chewed anything, never wee’d or poo’d anywhere. Just the best. He would watch Eastenders with the family know that next Animal Hospital would be on and this is something anyone has never forgotton.
His latter life, he suffered from severe arthritis. On the 6th January 2010, he became really unstable on his legs, and at 12:10pm, Thursday 7th January 2010, Merc sadly passed away.
To some he was just a dog, to me and the family, he was my best mate. I am now 18 years old, and have had Merc as a best mate and a pet since the age of 3.
Merc, I miss you with all my heart, and I will never forget you. You will always be the only dog in the world for me, and I will never forget you.
I love you more than anything mate.
