Cali oh what a beautiful cat. You were only 8 weeks old.

We had only owned you for two weeks.

The morning it happened I got up for school.

I brushed my hair and put clothes on.

I hurried out the door with a piece of toast in my hand

and hoped I would make it to the bus before I got left again.

I ran down the hill and hopped on the bus.

I made it to class but was in a rush.

I had lots of fun that day and ran home from the bus

to play with you. I walked in the house and called

your name but you weren't there.

You didn't come running so I could comb your hair.

Mommy walked in from the back yard and said Katie

listen up and try not to cry. Cali is gone she has died.

She was hit by a car right after you left I tried to call the

school but they told me to tell you when you got home.

They thought it would be best.

I miss you cali so very much and I will never let go,

I loved you to much. You were always there when I needed

a friend and I'll always be here for you.

Before Fanny Came you were here you died before Daddy

and Daddy died before Fanny but you were my first true friend.

You would cuddle up with me late at night and purr in my ear and

lick me to wake me up from a sound sleep in the night.

I loved you so much but God called your name.

I'm not sure why but he did take you away.

Maybe he did have a good reason maybe not ,

but one day he will call my name and

I'll be with you again!!!!
