Bear was a 180 lbs. of pure sweetness and Asia was 105 lbs. of sassiness. They always wanted to be in our laps and give us those sloppy wet kisses, which we miss so much. In March of 2006 we found out that our 9 year old Rotti, Asia had bone cancer, shortly after that Bear went to his favorite spot and died in his sleep. It was a big shock for us since he wasn’t the one we feared losing first. On Nov. 25th 2006 we lost Asia after she fought so hard to spend those extra months with us. She was such a fighter, our vet told us she was living on Love, she sure was!! Heres a poem i wrote for the both of them…
Bears Path for Asia…
He made a path for her to walk,
He sat at the end and called her name,
So she would feel no fear.
They gave their love while they were here,
And was loved in return for many years.
Both leave behind Mommy and Daddy
with a broken heart.
She knows they will heal soon.
For they know she must also go,
So Her and Bear can walk from the end of his path, through the gates of Heaven TOGETHER…
