My beautiful calico Carrie.
After all these years my heart still aches for you.
You were such a sweet girl.
I remember you loved to sit
on the neighbor's steps and he would get so mad at me
I would laugh.
How could I stop you from sitting on his steps?
He just didn't like animals did he?
We moved from there and now you had
many acres to roam and you loved to do that.
I knew you were happy and you loved
to sit on my lap and purr.
Letting me know things were good
but that day you became ill was the saddest day for me.
You also got cancer and mommy had
to say good-bye to you.
My heart ached for oh so long
but your love and memories helped me.
Knowing we will be together again someday comforts me.
So until then my sweet Carrie
remember mommy will always love you..
