Champ was a beloved pet, and brought many happy times to our family. Even though he was a family pet, Champ was the closest to me because we grew up together. He was a puppy, and I was in kindergarten. Throughout the years, Champ brought so much happiness to everybody, even when times were bad. I’ll never forget all the cute little things he did to cheer me up when I was down. He didn’t act like a dog at all, more like a human being, and my best friend.
The day he passed on I will never forget. I’d have to say it was the worst day of mine and my family’s lives. Champie had touched so many hearts, and it hurt us to see him suffering so bad from his cancer. Sadly, we had to put him down. I was so miserable, but my Champ was there for me in spirit. I could feel his presence everyday after we put him down. I know he was trying to tell me it was ok, and that even in spirit he still loved me, and you know what?
I will always love him too.
