My precious Charlie,
You have only been gone a week but it feels like a lifetime. I miss you so much, you died so quickly I barely had time to say goodbye. I hope that you heard me talk to you to tell you how much I loved you after you had gone and felt me hug and kiss you one last time.
You brought so much joy to my life and although we were only together a brief two years I am so glad that I rescued you from the animal shelter. I will never know what your life was like before I loved you but I hope that the last two years of your life with me and your daddy were happy ones. You made me smile all the time, even when I was down and your little purr and silly headplants made me love you even more. I keep seeing round the house, part of me thinks you are watching over me. Tommy misses you too, he keeps looking for you round the house and watching out the cat flap waiting for you to come back.
I love you and miss you so much my baby – I will never find another cat who could replace you. You were one of the best friends I ever had and I hope that you are happy now wherever you are and not in any pain. Till me meet again babe, rest in peace.
