Chelsey came into our lives when she was only six weeks old. When she was a baby she was so feisty, but oh so smart. She caught on to everything so fast.
She has been with us thru thick and thin. Chelsey made a impact in our lives then and now. The years seemed to go by so fast and we looked around and Chelsey was a older companion. A few months ago I noticed when she was stressed for some reason, like getting a bath, or a hair cut, she would sometimes go into a coughing spasm, and I would just calm her down.
She needed dental work so I took her to the vet, and we ran tests on her, and I found out she had a heart murmur,age related, which was an enlarged heart. (Which was a sign from the coughing spasms)
Wasn’t long after that she went into her first heart failure, we were so worried & devastated. Chelsey only lasted less than a month after her heart failure.
We loved Chelsey so very much, it has been hard to move on, I can’t go one day without crying. Everything that was hers, I hold to my heart. I do not know if I will ever have another companion, but I do know that the love & memory of Chelsey will live forever in our hearts.
