A TRIBUTE TO OUR HERO
AVONDALE’S TAKING CHARGE “CHIEF”
During the blizzard of “1996” our Chiefy Boy was born January 12,1996. It was our Annie’s first litter. We were all excited to see the wonderful puppies being brought into this world. Chief was number seven out of eight to be born. Chief had a rough start to life I had to bring him around, and when I did he let out such a cry the world could hear him. Chief was the first pup I named right away. His blaze was connected from the back of the neck to the front of his forehead. He looked like an indian, so Chief it was to be. What a beautiful litter it turned out to be. They were quite the noisey group come midnight that is when play time began again.
Chief grew up to be a beautiful Springer. He was very intelligent, obedient and comforting. Chief became a blood donor in New Jersey. He saved many lives and his last donation saved his mommy Annie. Chief had many friends human and animal alike. He was very loving and endearing to all who knew him. Yet the thing that made him so wonderful, his kind and gentle heart, let him down in the end. So my dear fella we a so sorry we could not save you.
Thank you for all that you were. We are sure you are comforting someone in heaven. Chiefy Boy go play with all the big balls you can find in heaven. Run as fast as you can. Jump as high as you can for your treats like you did for us. Go have fun with Mommy Annie, Daddy Phantom, Aunt Sparky, your girl Jessie and all your other buddies gone before you. Remember no more medications, no more diet, eat all you want and what you want. We love you and miss you terribly. Be happy our Hero. See you at the bridge our Chiefy Boy.
With all our love and Springer licks and hugs,
| CHIEF |
