I got Chip when he was 8 weeks old in February 1990 as a gift. The little grey “pigeon” blossomed into a lovely creature. He knew how to whistle “Dixie” mimicked various sounds like phone ringing, said “I love you” gave kisses, danced to music. Although he wasn’t the cuddly type he was very special and was with me for near 18 years. He passed away suddenly last night. I have no idea why. he was fine one moment and gone the next. A shock to me but I’m grateful he didn’t suffer much. I just don’t understand how he just went like that, I assume a seizure or heart attack? I will miss him deeply. Rest in peace Chip and we will meet again when it is time. Thank you for all the love and memories you’ve given me thru all the years
