It has been one year since my Chipper went to
eternal sleep. Chipper was special. He was my
buddy, my companion and my best friend. He was
loyal, protective and completly trusting. He was
my shadow.
My buddy is buried in my back yard under a palm
tree. Over this past year, I have spent hours
visiting and remembering him. His brother Chopper
is still here and doing well but I sense he misses him too. About a month after Chipper died, I got another puppy, Checker.He reminds me of Chipperand has filled some of the void. But no dog can replace Chipper.
On this anniversary I wanted to remember Chipper.
I want to honor his memory and reflect on that
terrible day one year ago today.
Finally, rest in peace my beloved buddy. You are
in my heart and I miss you so very much.
I miss you Chipper, I love you buddy.
