Cat

Cinnamon was my mom’s cat.

She had a brother and a sister. Her mom was my cat.

Her sister Nala got hit the first day she could walk.

Her mom Whiskers ran away and got hit.

Spook Cinnamons brother got under the car hiding from the

German Shepherd when we pulled out and was on the main road jumped

out from under the car and ran away.

She was a lovable cat from when her brother ran away until she got hit.

She would cheer me up when I was sad.

When she was around there was never a dull moment in my life.

ME MY SISTER AND MY FRIEND WOULD PLAY WITH HER UNTIL

WE HAD TO GO IN. UNTIL ONE DAY WHILE I WAS AT SCHOOL SHE DASHED

ACROSS THE ROAD AND A CAR CAME UP AROUND THE CORNER OF THE ROAD.

SHE WAS HIT. MOM TOOK HER TO THE VET THEN CAME AND GOT

ME OUT OF SCHOOL TO LET ME TELL HER GOOD-BYE.

WHEN WE GOT THERE I CRIED. SHE TRIED TO CLIMB UP MY SHIRT

BUT SHE COULD NOT. HER BACK WAS CRACKED.

CINNAMON COULD NOT MOVE FROM HER BACK BONE BACK.

HER FOOT BONE WAS IN HER TAIL THE TAIL BONE WAS IN HER FOOT.

SHE WAS JUST A MESS. THEY HAD TO PUT HER TO SLEEP OR

THEY COULD HAVE FIXED HER BUT SHE WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE

TO WALK AGAIN SO I CHOSE WHAT WAS BEST FOR HER BUT NOT ME.

I HAD HER PUT ASLEEP. I DIDN’T WANT HER TO SUFFER THE

REST OF HER LIFE.

THAT DAY WHEN I GOT HOME I CRIED. FROM THEN ON I STILL HAVE

PROBLEMS BY NOT CRYING IN SCHOOL AND PLACES LIKE THAT.

I JUST WISH SHE WAS HERE RIGHT NOW. SO ME AND MY DOG BOTH

won’t be lonely.

I cry every night wanting her to be here on earth with me.

Luckily I know where she is right now.

And that she is safe.
