" Cocoa Maria " July 4 1990 ------ May 1 1999

Cocoa Maria was a very loving girl.
She has touched our families lives with so much joy.
When sickness struck her she went paralyzed in her right side
loosing her legs. We had her treated to prevent it spreading
into her left side. The cartilage that broke off in her spinal cord
lodge itself and cut off the flow of blood.
Two days later she could not move her left side.
We all slept with her on the floor touching her to let her know
we would not leave her side.
On May 1st I had to make a decision that would completely
break all our hearts. I had to put Cocoa Maria to rest
as she could not move and she cried so.
She was always there for us. Though my major surgeries
and there to comfort when tears would flow.
She will forever be our hearts.
There's not a day that goes by that I still have tears fall.
The beautiful girl that Cocoa Maria was will always make
me appreciate all the time we had together.
May God take care of her now.
She is no longer in pain and she is with our Savior.
