Cotton by Tom

Cotton, I know it has been a while since you have passed on. I just want to say thank you. Thank you for making my childhood as happy as it was. I know I wasn’t there when you moved on. I was far away involved in my own troubles. Troubles that I refused to let myself deal with. That is until I got home and walked past your favorite rock
with your name painted on it.

The grief I felt allowed me to start on my road to healing. I’ll miss you, my little dinky dog, until one day when once again you can chase me around trying to grab the
candy out of my hand.

Until we see each other again,

Tom
