Daisy came into my life when I picked her out of a litter of little American Eskimos in a mall. She was the smallest and no one had a lot of interest in her. She was perfect. Within a month of getting her I had her trained to sit, stay, speak, play dead, beg and dance. She was the smartest dog I have ever seen.
Daisy followed me through years of college, several new places to live, new jobs and into my marriage. My husband loved her as well and always made sure she was taken care of. Daisy had the joy of giving birth to a litter of three puppies and was such a wonderful mother. Not long after her puppies arrived I had my first child. Daisy did not get much attention while we were caring for Nicholas. She was patient and seemed to understand that we had our hands full even though she would pout every now and then.
I only wish now that we had spent more time with her the last few months of her life. We lost Daisy on April 12th when she ran from our yard and was hit by a utility truck. I don’t know that I will ever be able to get over the pain of losing her. I will never find a dog as wonderful as she was…
Daisy, we love and miss you very much. You were such a special dog and you will never be replaced.
Love Always,
