Dakota by Kathy Bombino / Mommy, Daddy, Puff & Hollie

Dakota it has been 7 months since you were taken from us. You were a Wonderful pet, Companion and Family Member. You brought us so much joy and laughter over the years, more then I have time to mention here.

You helped us so much with the pain and heart ache when Amber and Bosco passed away. We are so very Thankful to you for that.

Unfortunately we only had about 5 years together. But those were such Memorable years, and we are greatful we had them, and wouldn’t have traded them in for anything.

We are so glad we rescued you at the age of 5 years, but alway’s wondered why your first family turned you in. You were no trouble and were the best Dog anyone could have asked for, and so well behaved too. Well it was their loss and our gain. We can only imagine what you were
like as a Puppy.

I can’t believe how sick you got and how quickly your illness took over your body. I can only hope that you understand why we had those treatments done on you. We so hoped it would give us more quality time together. We did have at least 2 days where you were eating and were more like yourself, this was so wonderful to see. I will remember these days forever and ever.

Sadly everything went down hill from there and we had to rush you to the hospital. It just broke my heart to see you that way. It hurt so bad as there was nothing I could do for you, except comfort you and be by your side, and talk you through it all. We tried to keep up the faith, and hoped that with some medical help that we could bring you home for your final days. I guess God had other plans for you.
We again were forced with that painful job of saying Good Bye. You knew it too, as we saw it in those big brown eyes.

We were by your side until you took your last breath, you deserved at least that, and I wouldn’t have done it any other way. You were by our sides through good and bad too.

Thank You so Very much for putting up with Bosco and Hollie during their Puppy stage. You were terrific. Hollie Misses you deeply. You were her Big Brother!!

Hopefully you have found Amber, Bosco & Jingles too, and that you are all playing nicely together.

We All Miss you so Very Much and Always will. We Love you more then words can say.

All Our Love,
Dakota
