May 28, 2010 – Almost seven years have passed and even though the pain of losing you has dulled somewhat, my sweet “big girl”, you are still always in my heart and I think of you truly every day. Tonight my friend told me she had to let go of her beloved Whoopi and as I realized the loss and pain she is going through, I again felt the rush of the pain of losing you come back. You were my fur-coated child, my soul mate, my best friend and you brought so much happiness into our lives. Although your life was so often filled with pain from the surgeries you had to have to keep you walking, you lived and breathed to just be by my side. What a precious gift you were DarBaby and someday I do believe we will meet again at “Rainbow Bridge”. Until that day, the love you gave me will always be a treasured gift baby girl.
