Today is the first day of the rest of my life without my Little Darlin kitty. He had to go to Rainbow Bridge yesterday morning. Darlin was my only child and was with me for 18-1/2 years. Wow life is so different already without him.
I’m doing okay today. I think what has helped me tremendously is that I had the opportunity to say goodbye. Darlin was diagnosed with a massive tumor in his tummy on Tuesday April 17 and God laid him to rest on Wednesday April 18 2001. I was able to have some quality hours with him before he had to go.
I will treasure for the rest of my life the joy and happiness Darlin gave me. I was given the gift of love like no human could ever give me.
I’ll meet you at Rainbow Bridge Darlin when it’s my time — until then I will think of you every day of my life.
