Diana was such a beautiful cat we found her under a car at our apartments in October 2012 she was about 5 months old, she was dirty and skinny and just look so scared and alone, I knew the second I picked her up that she belonged to me so I took her home. I have 3 dogs and they weren’t to happy about her being there nor was my husband but I didn’t care she needed a home and love and I knew I could give it to her so she was staying. And after a few days she won the heart of my husband. Even though we only had her 5 short months she was the love we didn’t know we were missing.
Diana was scared of kids and new people she would only come to me or my husband she had a very bad start in life and I promised her she would never have to be alone again and I let her down, last night she was hit by a car in front of our apartments she was all alone. We think she was trying to find my husband he had left to walk to the corner store to get some soda and we think she must have loss sight of him and must of started following some one else and tried crossing the street and got hit.
My husband is so upset I never seen him like this. Any way Diana so beautiful and sweet all she ever wanted was to be petted and loved on. I’m so sorry baby that mommy wasn’t there to protect you I told you I would never let anything happen to you and I failed you I’m so sorry please forgive me. Diana is at the bridge now and I know my beloved Rufus is with her and that is the only thing that gives me comfort is knowing she isn’t alone. I love you pretty girl and I always will. I send you all my love your mommy forever xoxox
